Mankind's Home

Have you ever just stopped to think about this. About the earth and how beautiful and special and unique this planet is. About all the life that lives, breathes and has their being on this tiny blue marble of a planet called the earth. A planet that somehow was spared the blackness, darkness, cold, death of the vaccuum of space to become a thriving, world teeming with life. A planet with all the necessary elements coming together for life as we know it to exist.  About who we are and what many do, attempt to do and want to do. Mankind is at the same time curious, adventurous and brave but is also stubborn, foolish, self centered, violent and egotistically antagonistic. Endeavoring to get for themselves anything and everything they can.

There are those leading governments whose soul desire is to subjugate and oppress the masses to be subservient to their every command. In order to gain for themselves noterity, prestige,  but most of all Power, Wealth  and Control of those they believe inferior to their self important ways.  This culminates to their desiring obeisance from those they deem unimportant and inferior pawns to be led about on their leash to accomplish their own lofty goals and ambitions. They are those who use others to the benefit of their own selfish whims, intents and pleasures.  Suppressing, controlling, manipulating these sheeple to be ruled as such. And if they refuse are  persecuited, incarcerated or even killed as a final solution to the despots resort.

Good example now is the country of Iran, whose people want their freedom. These mass demonstrators  mowed down in the streets by the ruling dictators. Over 30 thousand  killed because of their blantant disobedience to the laws of the  suppressive and vicious religion of Islam. These leaders following  the cruel and brutal ideology which is the true Isalmic belief. They destroy any and all of the so called infidels  according to the ruling class Imans. And therefore those who protest  must be eliminated in the cruelest, complete and quickest way possible. Death to the infidel.

And we want to export other corosive, wicked, enslaving and murderous religious and political institutions such as Islam, Communisim and Fascism. And all the other ism's to other lifeless, hostile, worlds in our own solar system and beyond? Establish colonies on the moon and mars.  I wonder how long it would take before we'd be waging war against each other on those planets? Sounds like a definition of insanity to me.  Though lifeless and hostile do describe what they are about and how they govern. So just maybe it seems rather ironic this be appropiate that they inhabit and perish on such lifeless domiciles.

Blast mankind into the vaccuum of the cold, breathless and darkness of uninhabitble space. Where if help is needed it would be too far from the home planet to be achieved.  Where the human body was never intended or equipped to survive.  A perfect example recently the quick return of the crew from the space station when one required immediate medical attention not available on the ISS. Space is unforgiving to the human species. To everything that lives and breathes and has a being on this planet.

Examples include the fact that blood and other bodily fluids may settle in the upper body and head, causing "moon face" or nasal congestion. muscle and bone loss..... Astronauts can lose up to 1-2% of bone mass per month in space, primarily in weight-bearing areas like the spine, hips, and legs..... Where Vision is affected as some astronauts reported blurry vision after long-duration spaceflights, thought to be caused by increased pressure on the optic nerve due to fluid redistribution..... Cardiovascular changes such as changes in blood circulation that can affect overall cardiovascular fitness..... And psychological challenges such as the isolation and confinement which  can lead to psychological stress, making mental health a concern for long-term missions. These changes highlight the need for astronauts to engage in regular exercise to counteract the effects of weightlessness and maintain their health during space missions.

I am a big sci-fi fan. I read sci-fi novels as a kid. One of my favorites "Red Planet"  by Robert Heinlein. I was with that kid roaming the canals on Mars. With his strange looking martian pet. I watched Rocky Jones Space Ranger every saturday morning.  Star Trek was never missed by this guy. I even liked Lost in Space , including the movie. Yet voyger 1 has discovered some very unsettling facts that have surprised scientists.

The fact that intense plasma waves and cosmic radiation  as it leaves our solar system has revealed that the edge of our solar system is neither peaceful nor tranquil. It's a battleground in space. Intense plasma waves. A stormy borderland with magnetic tempests, radiation flares and cosmic rays tens of thousands stronger than anything within the heliosphere.  More cosmic radiation would have grave effects for space exploration. And it appears space is much more hostile than anyone ever realized.

I'm reminded of the Bible verse in Isaiah 45:18 which says:

For thus says the Lord,

Who created the heavens,

Who is God,

Who formed the earth and made it,

Who has established it,

Who did not create it in vain,

Who formed it to be inhabited:

“I am the Lord, and there is no other.

                                                                                                    arrow points to the earth

Space was never intended to be occupied by mankind. Oh we can wrap ourselves into big heavy life supporting suits that allow us to venture into space.  That  protect and enable us to survive with devices that keep us alive. But as mankind travels beyond our atmosphere which has been provided for creatures such as  ourselves. We learn more and more about the absolute dangers that lurk for us in the endless darkness and vaccuum of space. We begin to realize that this tiny blue marble in this vast lifeless universe is far more special than anyone ever realized. And that the God who spoke it all out. The God who sustains all life on this rare and unique minuscule dot in the vastness of space. That this rotating sperical planet called the earth itself is God's  most  precious and valuable jewel to the One who has created all things.

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (1 John 4:10)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God.  All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.  And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend (overcome) it. (John 1:1-5)

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! (Romans 11:33)
