The Apostles Behold Jesus Christ In The Flesh The Resurrection Appearance
That which was from the beginning.....In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... which we have heard... Jesus saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them, and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him...
which we have seen with our eyes,...Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him.... which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled.... Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.”So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.” And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!” Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.” And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”.....
concerning the Word of life.....He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.... the life was manifested, and we have seen and bear witness, .... When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Jesus, and he disappeared from their sight.....
and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us
....the Word became fesh and dwelt among us.....and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth..... that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ....He who believes in the Son has everlasting life;
and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him....... And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.....For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
