Christ of Christmas

When the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, (Gal 4:4)
Jesus said “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. ( Matt 5:17)
For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.(Romans 8:3-4)
The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. (1 Cor 15:47-38)
And Jesus said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.(John 9:11)
For unto us a Child is born...(Is 9)
Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. (Luke 1:34-37)
{“Behold, the virgin shall be with child....
Unto us a Son is given
and bear a Son
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
They shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”} (Is. 7 and 9)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:1;14)
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God...(Eph 2)
Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift! (2 Cor 9:14)
