Christ of Christmas

When the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, (Gal 4:4)
Jesus said “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. ( Matt 5:17)
For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.(Romans 8:3-4)
The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. (1 Cor 15:47-38)
And Jesus said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.(John 9:11)
For unto us a Child is born...(Is 9)
Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. (Luke 1:34-37)
{“Behold, the virgin shall be with child....
Unto us a Son is given
and bear a Son
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
They shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”} (Is. 7 and 9)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:1;14)
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God...(Eph 2)
Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift! (2 Cor 9:14)

The Day Of The Lord (like a thief)

The Day Of The Lord

14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and` of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”
16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.(Rev 16)

3 Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. (Rev 3)

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.(2 Peter 3)

1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.

29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Matt 24)

And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. (Luke 17)

40 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” (luke 12)

The common perception of most of the world is that things will just remain as they are. Life goes on. A generation dies another replaces it. But scripture tells us all of history is moving toward a day when everything will come to a halt. And this isn't the first time God has intervened. In Genesis 6 it says “the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7 So the LORD said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.”

Noah found grace with God. Why Noah? Because Noah really believed God. Hebrews 11 tells us “By faith Noah....Noah had a faith that believed God when He said He was going to flood and destroy the earth. And “moved with godly fear,” he built the ark for the saving of his household...by which he condemned the world. And Noah preached by his actions and Jewish tradition tells us He preached with his words that they better prepare, for the world they know will come to an end. The only ones to survive were Noah and seven others. And the creatures God led to the ark.

The world of Noah's time must have thought him a lunatic. The noise of his construction clearly heard and seen by all his neighbors. If there had been a home owners association he would have been seriously reprimanded, fined or probably stoned for his infractions. Then there was the sound of all the animals as they arrived and marched into the ark. There might have even been block parties and barbecues as people stood around making fun of this crazy old man, who insisted that God was going to destroy the earth with water that would come down from heaven. And since it had never rained, Noah's explanation of this event probably brought condemnation from all those who observed his--what they thought--irrational behavior.

7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. (1 Peter 4)

24 For as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Man will be in His day. (Luke 17)

Scripture tells us God is not a man that he should lie. That it is impossible for God to lie.”God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?”(Numbers 23:19)Where will you stand on that day. On His right or left. A sheep or a goat. Will he say well done good and faithful servant enter into the joy of the Lord or depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels” What God has spoken and holy men of God have written down will come to pass. And each day we are closer to that day. The Day Of The Lord.

1 Come near, you nations, to hear;
And heed, you people!
Let the earth hear, and all that is in it,
The world and all things that come forth from it.
2 For the indignation of the LORD is against all nations,
And His fury against all their armies;
He has utterly destroyed them,
He has given them over to the slaughter.
3 Also their slain shall be thrown out;
Their stench shall rise from their corpses,
And the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
4 All the host of heaven shall be dissolved,
And the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll;
All their host shall fall down
As the leaf falls from the vine,
And as fruit falling from a fig tree.
5 “ For My sword shall be bathed in heaven;
Indeed it shall come down on Edom,(the gentile nations)
And on the people of My curse, for judgment.

8 For it is the day of the LORD’s vengeance,
The year of recompense for the cause of Zion.
9 Its streams shall be turned into pitch,
And its dust into brimstone;
Its land shall become burning pitch.
10 It shall not be quenched night or day;
Its smoke shall ascend forever.
From generation to generation it shall lie waste;
No one shall pass through it forever and ever. (Is. 34)

God's Word to all who oppose Him; everlasting wrath is coming.

2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God;
And your sins have hidden His face from you,
So that He will not hear.
3 For your hands are defiled with blood,
And your fingers with iniquity;
Your lips have spoken lies,
Your tongue has muttered perversity.
4 No one calls for justice,
Nor does any plead for truth.
They trust in empty words and speak lies;
They conceive evil and bring forth iniquity.

Their works are works of iniquity,
And the act of violence is in their hands.
7 Their feet run to evil,
And they make haste to shed innocent blood;
Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity;
Wasting and destruction are in their paths.
8 The way of peace they have not known,
And there is no justice in their ways;
They have made themselves crooked paths;
Whoever takes that way shall not know peace. (Isaiah 59)

And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” (Rev 14:11)

The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10)

Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” (luke 12)

Lie VS Truth

and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; 7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked 8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds) (2 Peter 2)

7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

Hell...Damnation...eternal suffering of the wicked....Judgement Day.... Just bring these topics up in a mixed discussion and see the crowd part like the red sea before the command of Moses. People simply don't believe that a loving, caring God would condemn people to an eternal Hell of suffering.

People still have that thought that they are basically good. That God should be honored to have them in His presense.(even if they entertain such thoughts as there being a God). It is that something is good enough in us that God would welcome us with open arms because we're so wonderful.

One well known so called preacher who lured millions each week to his Crystal Cathedral claimed in 1997 "I'm very proud of who I am. I am innocent. I have not broken a single one of the Ten Commandments. I have not broken any of the teachings of Jesus Christ, and so I'm proud of my faith and message," And that is exactly what he taught. That men need to look within to see their potential for good in that positive kind of way.

Scripture, The God-breathed Word says something different. “All have sinned....No one righteous, no not one. All have turned aways and are worthless. No one does good. No not one. Jesus told those who came to hear Him “You being evil.....” For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.” (Mark 7:22-23)

In the sight of A Holy, all knowing, Sovereign God, we are seen as filthy, dirty, polluted, defiled. And all our righteous acts are as filthy rags. (Is. 64:5) Thus Paul's words “I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God , nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable._ 1 Cor 15)

The picture painted by Jesus and the Apostles is not a pretty one of the nature of man. It's not that Everyday should be a Friday kind of human centered teaching we hear so much about today. That we should strive to put on our best happy face with our positive hits rumbling in the background. That everything is beautiful in it's own way, La dee da theology, of a congregation of immature miscreants who crave the things of this world, the lusts of their hearts, and boasting of what they have and do.

For Jesus said of such, “They have their reward.” For such bow at the altar of mammon wallowing in their own corrupted pursuits and heap up for themselves teachers who tickle their ears with the lure of material gain, health guaranteed, a life free from pain and suffering and a promise that happiness is God's will for your life. When Scripture says God's will is your sanctification. Your being made Holy. That's unnatural to man. It can't happen without the new birth. Without God reaching down from heaven through His word and transforming the heart of rebellious, sinful creatures such as ourselves.

There is a popular notion today that more is better. Ratings. Numbers. The more the merrier kind of mentality in a Christian motif. More what? More poor, corrupted souls hopping aboard the vehicle of coveteous exploitation through deceptive words for the sake of the monetary enhancement of those whose god is their stomach, whose glory is in their shame ,who set their minds on earthly things and whose end is destruction?

Jesus said that road to destruction is wide. It is littered with the souls of those who convinced themselves that they had good intentions in their decisions. But they did not seek God's guidance. They said our knowledge is superior. Our marketshare can be larger if we just do this or that to attract our clientele.

The Gospel has gotten so watered down, so impotence through self help programs, consultants, and fleshly pursuits that the true meaning has been put away. Locked up. So not to offend.

The church has become like the world. Our separation from God through our inherent evil, sinful corruption-- because we are born in sin and will die in our sins if we don't repent and believe the Gospel--tossed aside at the ash heap of Hell's desolution. Men aren't dead in their trepasses and sins, following the course of this world, the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that works in the sons of disobedience and by nature children of God's wrath. (eph 2) Men just need a better positive outlook of themselves. Their self-esteem needs to be energized. And Jesus is there to cheer them on as they realize their own inherent worth and goodness. Step up to the plate. You can do it. Smack a home run for Jesus. He's in the stands cheering you on.

Instead truth is there is nothing good in us to commend ourselves to God. NOTHING! His righeousness must be applied to your account. You must be born from above not of perishable seed, but imperishible through the living and enduring word of God.

There's a story in the Old Testament I love that demonstrates that God deserves all the glory for our salvation and all our works. Gideon was called out by God to defeat the Midianites and the Amalekites to save Israel. But God told Gideon his army was too many less Israel claim glory for itself. Saying, “my own hand saved me.”

So from an army of 22,000 strong, then lowered to 10,000 and finally to a mere 300 men, God would show that it wasn't the Israelites who secured the victory but God. Then Gideon and His small army went to the outpost of the camp, blew their trumpets in their right hands, carried flaming torches in their left hands, crying out “The sword of the LORD and of Gideon!. And the whole Midianite army ran, cried out and fled. And the LORD set every man's sword against his companion throughout the whole camp. On that day the LORD showed all Israel that indeed he fights for His people and gives them the victory.

It's not in large numbers and the wisdom of this world that people come to the truth to enter into the Kingdom of God. It's through fear of the Lord which is the beginning of knowledge. James said “You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. 4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. (James 4)

How sad to see courtless numbers of those in the church believing that they can continue in their worldly lusts. Many have heaped up teachers that tell something pleasing and gratifing to satisfy their own liking to tell them exactly what they want to hear and to foster the errors they hold. (2 Tim 4:3)

The Apostles of Christ and Jesus himself didn't mince words when it came to the truth.

Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Cor 6)

1 Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, 2 that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. 3 For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. 4 In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you. 5 They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. (1 Peter 4)

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. (Romans 1)

7 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. 18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. 19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more. (Eph 4)

15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. (1 John 2)

13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. 14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” (1 Peter 1)

17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? (1 Peter 4)

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, (the depraved and defiled ) abominable, murderers, (lewd and adulterous) sexually immoral, (practicers of magic arts) sorcerers, idolaters,(those who give supreme devotion to anyone or anything other than God) and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Rev 21)

13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

The Apostles of Christ and Jesus himself

And God's people can not either.

For eternity waits for us all.

Lie Of The Flesh

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. (Rom 1)
In these two verses The Apostle Paul covers both male and female sexual aberrations. It is simply a perversion of what God in the beginning created, looked at and said "was good."
I have heard it said that Jesus never spoke about or aganist same sex relationships. Yet in speaking to the subject of divorce Jesus said "from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’ 7 ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, 8 and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” Jesus clearly states marriage is between a man and woman declared by God Himself in the Pentateuch. ( first 5 books of the Old Testament)
When a person unites with another in a sexual union there is more to it than just flesh involved. There is a spiritual component to it. The two become one. Marriage is indeed a sacred union, between a man and woman--only-- as declared by God (Gen 2:21-24)
The good that God intended became corrupted, defiled, twisted, perverse, to the point where mankind was given over to every kind of evil, wicked desire to fulfill that endless craving that can never be satisfied. For mankind desires a new thrill, to assuage a hunger that draws them like a moth to the flame. Leading to their destruction.
Jesus concurs with the Old Testament Scripture of Jeremiah 17:9 “ The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? The Orginal word from the hebrew for deceiful means crooked or polluted. So many who have denied the God of creation have embraced another god, an idol by which to justify themselves and give their life meaning.
The environment is their new idol. They decry the pollution of the world yet neglect the pollution of their own souls and bodies with old lies in a nice new attractive package wrapped up by the enemy of mankind, that murderer from the beginning who whispered "has God said???? You'll be like God." He indeed is the god of this age, blinding those fools who have said, "there is no God." And what better way for this one to convince than as an angel of enlightenment stroking the ego's of the intellectual elite. The great deceiver of the deceived.
Another translation says "9The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly perverse and corrupt and severely, mortally sick! Who can know it [perceive, understand, be acquainted with his own heart and mind]?
Stll other translations same the heart is "beyond cure."
12 There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. (Proverbs 14)
People go through their entire lives living in rebellion to God. Refusing to accept what God says because they believe God is trying to stifle their pleasure, their fun, their freedom. So they deny he exists or cultivate the god of their own imagination. But the Father really knows best, because when mankind gives itself over to unbridled passions, the flesh is never satisfied, leading to a downward spiral into the abyss of endless sorrow. Always unfulfilled. Slaves to a mind driven by lust--earthly, sensual, demonic.
20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. 21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! 22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6)
It is a strong word in the orginal language. Slave. (doulos) it is one who is in a permanant relation of servitude to another. His will altogether consumed in the will of another.
17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. 18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. 19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more.(Eph 4)
Human beings are either one or the other. Slaves to sin. Or slaves to God. I find it interesting that when people believe they are free to do whatever they want, so to speak, they really aren't free at all. They're slaves. Slaves to their lusts, slaves to their passions and slaves to their desires. This can never lead to true peace and contentment. These are the ones who constantly seek that which will satisfy, if only for a moment, the uncontrollable urge that floods through them. Saddest part of all, after that desire is fulfilled, it must be saught after again and again and again. A never ending maze of maddening perversity that always leads to death.
5 Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Gen 6)
God's patience lasts for a very long time. But one day He will say "ENOUGH." Sodom and Gomorrah are an example of this. To us all. As The apostle Peter tells us.
"and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly;" (2 Peter 2)
All throughout the Scripture the unrependant are warned that one day God's patience will cease.... 3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. (1 Thess 5)
For those without the only name under heaven given by which we can be saved ....19 Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors.(Ps 73) It will be a day of terror. A day when they realize their time is up.
I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. (Rev 20)
As Jesus says in his parable of the sheep and goats in Matt. 25 " 41 “Then He will say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment.
Are you believing the lie of the world, the flesh and the devil. A terrible day of judgement will come. The religionists don't like too speak about it, or just don't believe it. But scripture teaches it. I ask look at the world today. What's wrong with it. We are what is wrong with it. All of us because our our rebellion against God.
"both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.10 As it is written:
“ There is none righteous, no, not one;
11 There is none who understands;
There is none who seeks after God.
12 They have all turned aside;
They have together become unprofitable;
There is none who does good, no, not one.”
13 “ Their throat is an open tomb;
With their tongues they have practiced deceit”;
“ The poison of asps is under their lips”;
14 “ Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”
15 “ Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways;
17 And the way of peace they have not known.”
18 “ There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
And it is Paul the apostle quoting the Old Testament, for there are those who are sorely deceived by false teachers in the distributed churches who deny the only God and His Son Jesus Christ our Lord by telling people that they can pray in any god they wish to pray to.
Remember this, the Father judges no one but has committed ALL JUDGEMENT TO THE SON. Jesus will be, is the JUDGE. It is He you will stand before one day. And now that day is nearer than before. The seconds are ticking down. The time is at hand. The earth and the heavens are about to shake. ...."when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power...(2 Thess 1)
BUT for all those who have bowed to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords....and confessed that Jesus Christ is Lord....(to the glory of God the Father) "our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. "(Phil 3)
For the people of God, those born not of the flesh, not of the will of man but of God. School will be over. A New Heavens and New Earth where righteousness dwells will be established. And we shall be together forever with the lord. Comfort one another with this.
1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
The world and it's desires are passing away. It will all be burned up. The things of man will be no more. God will reign supreme. And only those who are righteous, by the righteousness of Jesus Christ can enter in. Where will you stand on that great day. When Jesus puts the question to you, "Who do you say I am."
1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Nothing impure will ever enter it.... nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur..... But only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

False Teachers Then and Now

1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away.God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist,15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.16 You will know them by their fruits... (Matt 7)
9 For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves. (Acts 20) 3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words...(2Peter2) 1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron...(1Tim4)
2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers..18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things. (Phil 3) 4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness(The heresy will be characterized in part by sensuality (Gk. aselgeia, “lack of self-constraint, abandonment to immoral behavior”), which most often refers to sexual sin.ESV SB) and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.22 Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. [23] No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. (1 John 2)Those who dey the Jesus Christ is the way, Truth and Life and NO ONE comes to the Father except through Him. (John 14:6) Those who deny that there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. (Act 4:12) Those who believe that there are many paths to God. Who deny the severity of sin. And just how evil mankind is. There is none righteous, no, not one;
11 There is none who understands;
There is none who seeks after God.
12 They have all turned aside;
They have together become unprofitable;
There is none who does good, no, not one.“ There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom......
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’(Matt 7) 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”(Rev 21) outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. (Rev 21)
What is truth?????
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures...if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.....(! Cor 15;Rom 10:9)
to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.... 36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”(1Thess 1;John 3)
serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power....It is a fearful thing, to fall into the hands of the living God. (Heb 12;2thess 1;Heb 10:31)

How Will You Face Your 911?

It's hard for me to compehend that it has been 10 years since some fanatical, brain washed lunatics in the name of their god allah, hijacked 4 planes in a war declared on America by a name that became synonymous with terrorism--Osama Bin Laden. I remember seeing an interview done by one of the major networks in1996 in which he declared war on America. I frankly didn't think much of it at that time, confidently thinking "he's too distant from this part of the world to carry our his declaration." How naive of me to have such thoughts, for the world has become smaller each day and distance only hindered by one's ability to garner the time and be able to afford a trip around the world. And there's the internet that connects you instantly across the globe.
We all remember where we were that new day of infamy when the planes kamikazed into those 2 imposing towers of steel. Taking the lives of all those on board and in the towers, and coming to the rescue. We watched helplessly as those buildings burned and crumbled to the ground. And we stared in disbelief and horror as we saw occupants of those towers of steel jump to their deaths. Choosing a 10 second fall into eternity rather than being consumed in a conflagration of fire and flames. Ordinary people who woke up that day thinking it would be just like any other day. People just like you and me who probably never thought their lives would be cut short in such a terrifying and public way. One moment getting ready to conquer the world of commerce and trade. The next standing and staring into the precipice that would be their doorway into eternity.
I am sure these people assumed they had many more years to make their mark on the world. They would retire to a good old age and life,surrounded by their families, secure in a future made possible by what they did in the now. Never a thought that forever would beckon in a wall of fire or a jump into the abyss.
Truth is none of us knows the hour of our death. We avoid the topic. The topic of death just isn't discussed. We avoid it like the plague. But it is appointed once for man to die....(man referring to mankind... male and female.) Then judgement. Another topic that will end a conversation. JUDGEMENT. That we might be held accountable for what we do, how we live, the decisions we make in this life.
I am a Christian by the grace of an almighty,Sovereign, and very patience and gracious God. Twenty one years ago I was going my own way, living a perverse, ungodly, self-consumed and sinful life. By the grace and mercy of God the Father, I was drawn to God the Son, and quickened or made alive through God the Spirit. I passed from death to life. I was like the tax collector who beat his chest and said,"Have mercy on me a sinner" and God did. And nothing has been the same since.
Oh, I must deal with the pull of past temptations. And like the Apostle cry out "take this away" but like He said to Paul, God says, "My grace is sufficent for you. For my strenght is made perfect in weakness. I am still in this dieing rotting body of flesh, blood and bones. And what I want to do I do not do but what I hate to do. The flesh wars aganist the Spirit and the Spirit aganist the flesh. And yes, it is a war, and there are many battles every day. But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through the Lord Jesus Christ.
All God's people have hope. The hope of a new heavens and earth in which righteousness dwells. There's a time coming when he will transform this body to be like His glorious body. And this suffering is nothing compared to that glory.
Jesus spoke in a parable to those gathered around him of a rich fool saying: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully. And he thought within himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?’ So he said, ‘I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.”’ But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’ (Luke 12:16-20)
James an Apostle of Jesus the Christ penned "Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away." (James 4:13-14) In Lord of the rings Gandalf said, "All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us." And time is short indeed.
One day we all will face our own 911. Oh, it probably won't be as dramatic and public, but it will come none the less. We only get one chance in this life. One chance to confess Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the death. One chance to come to the only name under heaven by which we can be saved. The Way, the Truth and the Life. One chance because No One comes to the Father except through Jesus the Christ. There is one body and one Spirit.... one Lord, one faith, one baptism; (Eph 4)There is one God, the Father, of whom are all things.... and one Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Cor 8)
THERE IS NO OTHER WAY. ALL OTHER gods ARE IDOLS. 9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Cor 6)and when you worship idols you partake of the table of demons.
There's a belief that when people, all people die, except the really bad ones who murder, fly planes into buildings, go to heaven. It's a justification by death. Jesus said something different. MUCH DIFFERENT! 13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matt 7) Are you one of the few. Have you been born again, born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1)
Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling—
Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading—
Time is now fleeting, the moments are passing—
Shadows are gathering, death-beds are coming—
Coming for you and for me!
Oh, for the wonderful love He has promised—
Promised for you and for me!
Though we have sinned, He has mercy and pardon—
Pardon for you and for me!
Have you repented , confessed and believed? Behold now is the day of salvation. For it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. For our God is a consuming fire.

In The Beginning

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. (GEN 1)

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.(John 1)

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. (Col 1)

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1)

1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; (Heb 1)

16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. (Col 1
)

4 when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law....(Gal 4)

who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, (Heb 1)

5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. (Phil 2)

5 He was wounded for our transgressions,

He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed. (Is. 53)

4 having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. (Heb 1)

12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”(Act 4)

6 For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;(Is. 9)

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3)

And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, (Is 9)

1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ....I am the First and the Last. 18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. (Rev 1)

and we beheld His glory, (John 1:14)

2 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves; and He was transfigured before them.His clothes became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them. (Mark (9)

the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)

16 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (1 Peter 1)

Everlasting Father, (Is.9)

13 As a father shows compassion to his children,so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. (Ps 103:13)

Prince of Peace. (Is 9)

27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. (John 14:27)

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27)

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I will fear no evil; (Ps 23)

And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen! (2 Tim 4:18)

For You are with me;

8 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.....and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. (Matt 28)

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. (Ps 23)

For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we may boldly say:
“ The LORD is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?”(Heb 13)

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life; (Ps 23)

7 Blessed are the merciful,
For they shall obtain mercy. (Matt 5:7)

And I will dwell in the house of the LORD. Forever. (Ps 23: 6)

1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; I go to prepare a place for you (John 14)

8 Blessed are the pure in heart,(matt 8)

31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world...

For they shall see God. (Matt 5)

3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. 4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. (rev 22)

41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: (matt 25:41)

12 “behold, I am coming quickly....(Rev 22)

scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? 8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.((2 Peter 3)

13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. (Rev 22)

If anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God....17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?(1 Peter 4)

it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, 7 and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power..(2Thess 1)

24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. (John 5)

if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved....
(Rom. 10)

Jesus took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray. 29 As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening. 30 And behold, two men talked with Him, who were Moses and Elijah, 31 who appeared in glory and spoke of His decease which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem. 34 A cloud came and overshadowed them; and they were fearful as they entered the cloud. 35 And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!” 36 When the voice had ceased, Jesus was found alone. (Luke 9)

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. (Gen 1)

3 Then God said.....

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. (John 1)

wHO'S tO bLAME?

This is what decades of socialism, handouts, liberalism (they've been deprived, throw more money at the situation, don't teach them to help themselves, keep them slaves of the system) , actions without consequences, freedom without responsibilty, gets a nation.

Most have no jobs to go to or exams they might pass. They know no family role models,They are illiterate and innumerate, beyond maybe some dexterity with computer games and BlackBerries.They are essentially wild beasts.

Why not riot when there's no rules. There's No, do not covet. No, do not steal. Instead Eat, drink and be merry.

They respond only to instinctive animal impulses — to eat and drink, have sex, seize or destroy the accessible property of others.

It's a what is theirs is mine attitude. The Jewish rabbis had a saying, “The reward of a good deed is a good deed, and the reward of an evil deed is an evil deed.” Sin is the punishment for sin. Sin begets sin which begets more sin. As a man reaps so he sows. So goes a nation that sows Godlessness.

it will not do for a moment to claim the rioters’ behaviour reflects deprived circumstances or police persecution.
It is because it is fantastically hard to help such people, young or old, without imposing a measure of compulsion which modern society finds unacceptable. These kids are what they are because nobody makes them be anything different or better.

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.

A key factor in delinquency is lack of effective sanctions to deter it. From an early stage, feral children discover that they can bully fellow pupils at school, shout abuse at people in the streets, urinate outside pubs, hurl litter from car windows, play car radios at deafening volumes, and, indeed, commit casual assaults with only a negligible prospect of facing rebuke, far less retribution.

Proverbs 22:15 Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; The rod of correction will drive it far from him.

They have no code of values to dissuade them from behaving anti-socially or, indeed, criminally, and small chance of being punished if they do so. They have no sense of responsibility for themselves, far less towards others, and look to no future beyond the next meal, sexual encounter or TV football game.

Proverbs 20:11 Even a child is known by his deeds, Whether what he does is pure and right.

Decades of removing God. Of denying God. Of worshipping false gods and false religions. Of compromise for sin. Of saying "we don't need the Christian God." Okay then, says God. Do it your own way. God withdraws. In it's place..."the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness....they are without excuse...Professing to be wise, they became fools...Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves....since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.

You therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel,Awake to punish all the nations; Do not be merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah (Ps 59:6)

They are an absolute deadweight upon society, because they contribute nothing yet cost the taxpayer billions.

8 But You, O LORD, shall laugh at them; You shall have all the nations in derision. (Ps 59)

Liberal opinion holds they are victims, because society has failed to provide them with opportunities to develop their potential.

Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.

Rather, they are victims of a perverted social ethos, which elevates personal freedom to an absolute, and denies the underclass the discipline — tough love — which alone might enable some of its members to escape from the swamp of dependency in which they live.

The nations have sunk down in the pit which they made;In the net which they hid, their own foot is caught.(Psalm 9:15)

They are products of a culture which gives them so much unconditionally that they are let off learning how to become human beings.

The wicked shall be turned into hell,And all the nations that forget God.(Psalm 9:17)

Whatever Happened To Hell?

In my profession, I have the unique opportunity to interview various authors of the Christian faith. It's something I really enjoy as program director at a Christian radio station. Recently I interviewed a Harvard University graduate and seemingly Biblical sound author, of I might add a very well respected Christian publishing house, who has written a book on Bible questions people might have. To my surprise during the interview, I came to understand that he didn't believe the Biblical doctrine of Hell that has been taught for thousands of years. His view of Hell sounded more like an excuse for a doctrine that frankly puts off a lot of unbelievers and believers alike. His view of Hell not unlike those who hold to an annihilationism doctrine of hell. That the wicked simply are destroyed.

It got me to thinking about this doctrine and looking into its ramifications if it's watered down to where it's not of any consequence to the Christian faith. Jesus, the Messiah, the Son of God himself comments about Hell more than anyone in the New Testament.
First He said "do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matt 10:28)This is a description of God, and of his power. Only God is able to "destroy", that is, to torment and punish both body and soul "in hell", in everlasting burnings; God is to be feared, not chiefly and principally only, but solely; (John Gill) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.(Proverbs 1:7)
1 The fool has said in his heart,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity;
There is none who does good. (Ps 53)

In Mark chapter 9 Jesus speaks of the severity of hell, "into the fire that shall never be quenched— 46 where ‘ Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched." The Persic version renders it, "because from this place there can be no deliverance. Whatever Hell is, it is constant, neverending, eternal, conscious torment.
and in Matthew 13:40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Matt 13: 49 So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, 50 and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”
What exactly does this mean? In Webster's original dictionary, Webster defined the verb "gnash" as "to grind the teeth, to rage even to collision with the teeth, to growl." Webster defined the noun "gnashing" in this way: "striking the teeth together, as in anger, rage or pain. A grinding or striking of the teeth in rage or anguish."
John Gill writes (declaring the remorse of conscience, the tortures of mind, the sense of inexpressible pain, and punishment, the wicked shall feel; also their furious rage and black despair.)

I believe Hell is God giving people over to their own evil hearts. Grace is withdrawn, the only thing people have in Hell is themselves. Eternal, conscious, torment. Paul says it in greater detail when in 2 Thess 1 where he writes....the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obpey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power...
God's grace withdrawn. Only the torment of being utterly consumed with the terror of hopelessness for eternity.
46] And these will go away into eternal punishment......
but the righteous into eternal life.”(Matthew 25:46 ESV)

The writers -Holy men of God who spoke being moved by the Holy Spirit- understood eternal life as being just that. Eternal. (everlasting life) . A time when God's chosen people will be together forever with God.
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,some to everlasting life...

and some to shame (debased or reprobate denoting the painful feeling arising from the consciousness of something dishonorable, improper) and everlasting contempt(vile, or worthless; disdain; scorn) dispised; morally despicable {Deserving hatred} or abhorrent detestable{deserving intense dislike} abominable )

This is how GOD SEES UNREGENERATE MANKIND. That is why flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.

In John 3 a man , a leader of the Jews, came to Jesus who said to him "unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” As John chapter one proclaims " But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."
Jesus said " Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation." (john 5:25;29)
15 and I have the same hope in God as these men, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked. (Paul Act 24:15)

Who are the wicked. What sends a person to Hell.

32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.(John 5)“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John14:6) He who has the Son has life (1 John5)

Eternal life is just that. Eternal, conscious, everlasting existence.

"he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. "(1 John 5)
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12) Saved from what? Saved from an eternity absent from the presence of God and the glory of His power. In a place so unimaginable, so terrifying, so all alone with just your own evil heart.

The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.(Rev. 20:11-15)

It is logical and reasonable to conclude that eternal punishment (Matt 24:29) everlasting contempt < condemnation; damnation;> (Dan 12:2) is likewise eternal, conscious, everlasting existence.
We must all stand before the judgement seat of Christ. Will you hear the words, Depart from me, I never knew you. Or Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of the lord?
