Before and After-The New Creation

Before one is born again into the kingdom of God by The Only Name under Heaven by which anyone can be saved. From the wrath of God through Jesus, the Word who was in the beginning with God and was God--God the Father's chosen Holy One-- the Messiah. They must believe by grace through faith and not of themselves. It is the gift of God not of works.....I can still remember the first time I believed. I simply cried out to God for help. And help He did. And most of all, I knew it. And my life changed forever. Before that moment  I behaved like the rest on the wide road to perdition. Those who act upon their own sinful lusts and pleasures. The condition that all of mankind is inclined to. For all of us  are natural born killers of what is good, holy, righteous, pure and true. It's what allowed me to justify my own depraved condition.  What in the greek is termed an anapodoton, which we refer to as a figure of speech.

All are predisposed to act upon those things which are contrary to a Holy and Righteous God. And because others acted on their own evil desires I too considered myself free to act upon my own. The birds of a feather flock together idiom.  With no thought of the consequences that these actions would earn.  Who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. (Romans 1:32)

The Scriptures say,"The wages of sin is death."  Eternal separation from the presence of God and the glory of his power. Among the condemned whose eternal home will be everlasting condemnation. Where the weeping and gnashing of teeth never ceases. Its the domain where all hope is lost and punishment is eternal. For the world and its desires are passing away but the one who does the will of God lives forever. With a citizenship in heaven where they shall glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Jesus said that he came that we may have life and have it more abundantly. And that is what all the redeemed shall have. For those who believes in the Son have everlasting life and shall not come into judgement.  They have passed from Death to Life in heaven that can never  perish, spoil or fade.

God's people are not to love the world or the things in the world. For all those ungodly desires are passing away.  Which are the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in one’s own resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father but are from the world [itself]. (1 John 2:15-17 AMP)

For "God gave them over to a depraved/reprobate  mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.  They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips,  slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; (Rom. 1:28-31)  James likewise says,"You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God."(James 4:4)   And Paul writes, "Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior” (Colossians 1:21). All the lusts, immorality and passions that consume mankind today.  That the reprobate pursue with wild abandon will be no more.  For the world and its desires are passing away. All the wickedness of this world will be consumed in the fire of God's wrath. (2 Thess. 1:7-10; Rev. 21:8)

People are natural born enemies of God. (Ps. 51:5; Rom. 5:10; Phil. 3:18; James 4:4) Human beings by their very nature don't like to be told how to live and what to do. The jews in Jesus time claimed that certain foods couldn't be eaten and if you did you were being disobedient to God. For adhereing to this  they figured as God's chosen people they were automaticly granted a place in His Kingdom. And obligated to practice the ceremonial law of Moses. Jesus corrected them on this false assumption saying it's not what you put in the body that makes a person, unclean. But that which comes out of the body that makes one unclean. For from within out of the heart of man proceed evil thoughts adulteries, fornication, uncleanness,  lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride and foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a person. (Matt. 15:18-20)   We are not Sinners because we sin.... we sin because we are sinners....we are born that way. Every person is brought forth in iniquity and in sin our mothers conceived us.

Many evangelicals today believe there's just enough goodness in us to accept Christ but the Bible teaches otherwise. Humans are totally depraved meaning: every part of our nature—mind, will, emotions, and body—is affected by sin, rendering us incapable of saving ourselves or seeking God without divine intervention. Paul the Apostle explains "And you he made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked  according to the course of this world according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lust of the flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. (Eph. 2:1-3) This doctrine emphasizes that no aspect of our being is untouched by sin....God must move in  our hearts by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Paul the Apostle explained to Titus and the saints in Crete "He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth (spiritual transformstion, regeneration) and renewal by the Holy Spirit,  whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior".(Titus 3:5) The bible also explains that there is no one righteous no not one. No one who understands, No one who seeks after God. All have turned away they have together become worthless there is no one who does good, no not one. (Romans 3:10-12)  In the sight of a Holy, Righteous God we are all like an unclean thing, all our righteous acts are as filthy rags. We sin because we are sinners. We were born that way. And all deserve His wrath.

God is the one who calls His people. And God does the saving. For God has Mercy on whom he Wills. And it is God who opens cold spiritually dead hearts to confess with their mouth  Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God has raised him from the dead. That is salvations message. One Way, One Truth, One Life. Jesus Christ the only name under heaven by which anyone is saved unto everlasting life.

It is the work of God by grace through faith, and not of ourselves. For there is nothing in us that warrants eternal life. No way any one can atone for their sinful condition.  It is a gift of God not of works lest anyone should boast.   God is JUST and mankinds transgressions most be atoned for, for one to inherit the Kingdom of God. All of mankinds sins against God were wiped clean by the blood of the cross. Jesus lived the perfect life and died a sinless death enduring the wrath of God in His peoples place. And only He could wipe away our sins because He was without sin, that we might become the righteousness of God...Only He was the required sacrifice for the sin of the world. To appease the wrath of God against mankinds sinful rebellion.  And those who believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. (Heb. 4:15)

God made him who had no sin to be sin (offering) for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Cor. 5:21)

God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.  God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are,  so that no one may boast before him.  It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.  Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord. (1 Cor. 1:27-31)

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:  who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:12-13)

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matt. 7:13-14)
