Godbless America. Why?

                                                                    

I pose the question. Should God bless America. And I think. Why? God has given us this great nation and yet we are anything but Godly. We have called good evil and evil good. Our leaders are corrupt. It's people self-centered, vain, vile, corrupt, indecent, perverted being given over to it seems every type of abhorrent wickedness the mind can concoct with a continuous lust for more. Fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind.  And as scripture tells us they are by nature children of God's wrath.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    The doctrines of God insulted, neglected, thrown unto the ash heap of good intentions and justifcation by death. A wishy washy brew forged  in the deepest nether demesnes of Hell.  And drowning  in the depths of every sort of wretched, loathsome, shameful and depraved pursuit. They have become accepting of every sort of repugnant abomination with the mantra recited that  "how you feel is who you are." As science itself, reality and old fashioned common sense is piled upon the ash heap of faith and religion. For it is what you feel not what you are their abject reality. God's word is true, every man a liar and  the whole world is under the sway of the wicked one.                                                                                                                                                                

                                                                                                                                                        We're a nation that needs to repent, to trust, to obey, and to walk worthy of the calling we have received. I fear for this nation. It is walking on the Broad Road to destruction. It's leaders weak, it's people lost. The nation stumbling and falling as the world watches and our enemies unite planning their strike. The peoples of this once great land's god is their stomach and their glory is in their shame. They set their minds on earthy things. Godbless us? I say and pray God save us from the judgement we deserve. And may we all sing the praises of a once lost, vile and vicious man who traded slaves for profit. And  whose heart God opened and inspired to write these words in song:

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
Was blind, but now I see

Know God's Word. Believe God's Word. Trust God's Word. Obey God's Word.  It is the Living Word and the Powerful Word and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Heb 4)

For the wrath of God is coming. Why?? God has given us over to our own evil hearts. "Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,  who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.  For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;  being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers (gossips),  backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 

who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them." (Romans 1:24-32)

                                    

Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication (sexual immorality),  uncleanness, lewdness,  idolatry, sorcery, (use of drugs, used by socerers-- greek word from which we get the english word pharmacy)  hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Gal. 5:19-20)

Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,  that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.  For we have spent enough of our past [b]lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries.  In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you.  They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. (1 Peter 4:1-5)

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators (sexually immoral-any sexual activity outside the marriage bond of a male and female), nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,  nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Cor 6:9-10)

Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do. (James 1:

21-25)

He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and [a]manifest Myself to him.” (Words of Jesus the Christ (John 14:21)                                                                                   

                                                    

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Rev. 21:8)

I hope and I pray that God may Bless America by opening the hearts of the the spiritually blind  and bringing many into His Kingdom through His truth and grace. Then they shall know the truth and that truth will set them free.
