Why We Need A savior
Outside(the kingdom of God) are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. (Rev 22:14-15 ***dogs in Old Testament for male prostitutes in pagan religious ceremonies***)
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators (the sexually active outside the marriage bond), nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Cor 6:9-10)
You who claim to be a follower of Jesus Christ do you continue in the life you once lived? Paul, the Apostle to the gentiles (anyone not born a Jew) in Romans chapter six cried "Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer in it.
knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, (One is made righteous through Christ and Him alone. He is the only doorway by which anyone can enter into kingdom of God in eternity; 2 Cor. 5:21)
but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, (Rev 21:9-10)
For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. (Rom. 1:26-27))
as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance (punishment) of eternal fire. (Jude 7)
Peter in his 2 epistle chapter 3 writes " The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."
But truth be told, and Jesus the Christ always tells the truth, He is the One in whom the Father is well pleased, the One of which God the Father said to Peter, James and John on the mountain when Jesus was transfigured before them, "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!"
Pray to the God of all creation, The Only True God , The Word who spoke all things into existence, to open your cold dead heart to believe, trust and obey.
But as for those who don't believe, turn away, love darkness rather than light, run from the only name under heaven by which anyone can be saved.....
In accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, (Rom.2:5-9)
He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”(Rev 21:7-8)
If you confess with your mouth Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9) You will then come from darkness to light and from death to life. You will come from being a child of God's wrath to being a child of God.
He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.(Titus 3:5-7)
Every single human being will spend eternity either with God in His Kingdom. or without Him, separated, punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of God and the Glory of His power. (2 Thess 1:7-10)
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:12-13)
Think you have done too much evil, committed too many abdominal sins to ever be worthy of God's Kingdom? Well, you aren't worthy, no one by his own good works, so called is. But Jesus Christ is worthy as the only mediator between God and all human beings. Put your faith and trust in what He has done. If you are sincere, if you come to God broken with true repentence in your heart, God knows that, and will answer your plea.
For God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”
This life your living now is but a grain of sand in the vastness of eternity. "For what is your life? It is even a vapor, a mist, that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. (James 4:14)
Eternity approaches,
the clock is ticking. Your heart beats all numbered. Repent and believe the Gospel. And you will be saved. From the wrath of God to come. And to eternal life in the Kingdom of God. .
For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. For,“All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever.”And this is the word that was preached to you. (1 Peter )
For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,(Jesus) and through him (Jesus) to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. (Col. 1:19-20)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Cor 5:17)
