A Prayer

A Prayer

Heavenly Father, God of all creation, the One who spoke out all things and they came to be, Holy,Holy,Holy Lord God Almighty, who is , who was and is the come. We bow out heads and and hearts before your Holiness, that in your Divine wisdom, your Divine love , you have allowed us to come before the throne of Grace and find Mercy.

We do this through the One in whom you were always well pleased, Your One and Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth and the Life. He willingly left the throne of the heavenly kingdom, the Divine who was in the beginning with God and was God, tabernacled in a body of flesh, and blood and bones--the God/man-- for only God in His Holy, Righteous perfection could pay the sin debt. No other sacrifice exceptable for one to enter into the Kingdom of God, in eternity.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. There is no flesh and blood, no child of Adam in and of themselves capable of obeying God perfectly. And as Jesus, the very Son of God said, "you must be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect," to gain entrance into that kingdom.
That is why Christ Jesus came, lived a perfect life, fulfilled the law and the prophets, endured hardship, persecution and finally hung on that tree, pouring our His own blood, the passover lamb of God who took away the sin of the world. That those who put their faith and trust in Him, and Him alone, might recieve eternal life, a place at the table, fellowship with the God who spoke out creation and promised that all who honor His Son Honor God the Father.
Dear heavenly Father, pierce through the cold, hard, dead hearts of those who deny you and walk according the to their own evil hearts. Deliver those blinded by the god of this age, the prince of the power of air, the spirit who works in the hearts of the sons of disobedience, whose destiny is destruction, who set their minds on earthy things. For the world and all its desires, the lust of the flesh, man's cravings and all of man's boasting of what they say and do are but dust.
All of us, every single human being must stand before the judgement seat of Christ. For God has appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom He has ordained. He has assured all of this by raising Jesus the promised Messiah, The Christ from the dead.

He paid the sin debt every single human being owes to God. His is the only name under heaven by which we can be saved. Saved from an eternity separated from God. An eternity of weeping and gnashing of teeth.

"these will go away into everlasting punishment..." (Matt. 25:46)

Weeping--because in eternity they will know they had an opporunity to come to the glorious Hope of resurrection to new life and bliss that awaits the redeemed. But they denied the Glory and Majesty, the sacrifice, the poured out blood from an old rugged cross, that reveals to us all the hopelessness of sin

These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, (2 Thess 2 1:9)

Gnashing of teeth--for in eternity, those who heard and rejected God's gift of LOVE to a lost and dying world, will curse God forever, given over to their own evil hearts and the natural hatred they have toward God. Grace withdrawn, their separation complete, the fullness of that sinful Adamic nature loosed, with an unending disdain and anger toward a loving and caring God who so loved that world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.

"but the righteous into eternal life....." (Matt 25:46)

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. (1 Peter 3:18)

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.(2 Cor 5:21)
