                                           For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven

                                      against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men,

                                who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, (Romans 1:18)

     The recent ruling on gay marriage and the decision of the supreme court to allow it in all 50 states has grieved my soul to its very core. The gay community celebrates over their victory, laughing , playing, dancing, (I couldn't help but picture Israel in the desert who got impatient in the wilderness while Moses was on Mount Sinai receiving God's law) even holding up signs that declare faith and hope. But where is their faith ? What do they put their hope in? In truth this is an enslaving tactic used for thousands of years by the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that works in the sons of disobedience.

     The evil one likes to counterfeit the attributes of the creator. Whether it's the unholy trinity the devil, the beast, and the false prophet, of the book of Revelation. Or the rainbow flag ( And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:  I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth) Or telling you exactly what your itching ears desire. As when Eve in Genesis 3 heard the serpent say, “You surely will not die!  For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God. Knowing good and evil. So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate.

      Nothing has changed. Looks good....is pleasant to the senses...becomes what we desire. There's nothing new under the sun. The mantra of the 60's. Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll. Words that cajoled a psychedelic romp through strawberry fields with lucy in the sky with diamonds.

      The promise that sank deeply into our ears and wrapped itself firmly around our hearts to believe anything goes, we are accountable to none except ourselves. No restraints. If it feels good do it. Eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we die. And the world satisfies with slogans to attract ….“Have it your way. You desire a break today. I did it my way.”

      Yet God tells us we shall be held accountable for our actions. Nothing is hidden from God's sight. The eyes of the LORD are in every place keeping watch over the evil and the good. And the Lord proclaims that every single human being can tell just from the things of creation that there is a God. All of creation reveals that. But there is a problem. Jesus Himself said people love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil. \

      Evil seems like such an archaic word. Relegated to the dust bin of antiquity. Yet our world still recognizes certain acts as evil when they are spattered on TV, smartphones, tablets and computer monitors.

     The atrocities of ISIS, the beheadings graphically revealed, the mass executions in pits dug by its victims, and crucifixions of little children, slashed through. Deep, gaping wounds tearing through their flesh, revealing the torture of their terror.

      Paul wrote, “some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,  speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,” Our nations leaders, it's lawmakers, it's people without God have embraced a theology of feelings. What do you feel in your heart. What this nations people have forgotten is that the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Their conscience seared through with the nonsense of political correctness.

      Unlike that exalted queen of talk that says all are God's children, that simply is not the case.

“ you were dead in trespasses and sins,  in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,  among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and WERE BY NATURE CHILDREN OF GOD'S WRATH...”

                                                         
                                                               You Were Dead.

     A rather blunt assessment of the human condition. Without Jesus Christ you are spiritually dead. You can not please God in anything you do. No good you do is seen by God as good. For as the Lord Jesus Christ said, “without me, you can do nothing.” For all our righteous acts are as filthy rags.

     It is only by the grace of God through faith and not of yourselves. It's a gift of God. It's by confessing Jesus Christ as Lord, and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, that you are brought from the present darkness of this evil age and brought into the light of the gospel of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

      It's beating on your chest and crying out to God, “Lord have mercy on me, A sinner.” It's agreeing with God's estimation of your fallen and rebellious condition and crying out to Him for deliverance. .

This is absolutely essential to where you will spend eternity. Heaven or Hell. No second chance after you close your eyes in death.

                    
                         For it is appointed for people to die once, and then the judgement.

  
     And less you like so many Christians believe, that judgement is something that is Old Testament only. Believing God was meaner then. Remember the words of the Lord Jesus.....”the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son,  that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.” (John 5:22-23)

 People don't like to hear that. It's so unfair. Really? Truth is God doesn't owe anyone anything. All of us deserve hell, because we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But in love God sent his Son to be an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

      It was absolutely necessary that the savior be God's one and only Son. Who is the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person. (Heb. 1) That He would be in very nature, or essense God.( For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead {Diety}bodily; Col 2:9) The Word who was in the beginning with God and was God. The One through whom all things were made. 

                                                Those who trust in their wealth
                                        And boast in the multitude of their riches,
                               None of them can by any means redeem his brother,
                                           Nor give to God a ransom for him—
                             For the redemption of their souls is costly, (Ps. 49:8-9)

      Sin taints all of us from the moment we're born. It's not what one feels in their heart. It's what God says in his Word. That is His standard. His law must be obeyed, perfectly.

Yet no one is perfect. No human being can or is able to obey His law. That is why He sent Jesus into the world. Not to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. Saved from the result of mankinds disobedience to the Messiah's perfect obedience. (I have not come to destroy the law and the prophets but to fulfill Matt 5:17)

                               , when he had lost his memory in his old age said,    

             “two things I know. I am a great sinner and Jesus Christ is a great savior.”

     The god of this age, who prowls around like a roaring lion, who has blinded the minds of the unbelievers knows his time is short. His goal is to lure the human race through the lust of the eyes, the cravings of sinful man, and the boasting of what we have and do. His goal? To keep as many as he can from the saving knowledge of Jesus  Christ.

      The kingdoms of this world are his for a season. Given to him by God himself because mankind would rather believe a lie “has God said” and “you shall be like God” rather than truth. And if God judged His people Israel, do you think a wicked and rebellious nation as ours has become, will escape His wrath? There comes a time when God finally gives a people (a nation) over to their own evil lusts and desires. To do those things that are not fitting.....(Rom. 1:18-32)

      Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, (effeminate by perversion) nor homosexuals,  nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
                                          But such were some of you.(1 Cor 6:9-11)
                                       That is the only hope that comes through  faith.

                         We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you

                                    not to receive the grace of God in vain.

                             For He says:“In an acceptable time I have heard you,
                                 And in the day of salvation I have helped you.

                   Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Letter To An Aquaintance

     Money is the idol of this world, not just this country. If this country was so very bad, then why would millions of Mexicans be streaming across our unprotected borders to get here?  MONEY!  (many getting government funded program MONEY in addition to many doing jobs that others in this country don't want to do because they have been encouraged not to work because they are in government funded programs that give them MONEY.)

     For goodness sake, someone can not run for president unless they are backed with, you guessed it LOTS AND LOTS OF MONEY!  It is a corrupt mess. Has been for many many years now and is only getting worse. Washington D.C. is full of vile, wicked, reprobates kissing each others bottoms for more, what's that word, oh yes, MONEY.

     The  Bible  has human nature  pegged right on the mark. "The LOVE of Money is the root of all kinds of evil." Money is not of and by itself evil. It is how and what men (and women) are doing with it for their own self-aggrandizement, power and status.  In order that they may rule over and control the rest that they deem inferior ignorant chattle.

     Millions of men and women have entered America (legally through proper channels) for a chance at Freedom to provide for themselves and their family . To have a better life than the hellhole, repressive socialistic rat trap of a 3rd world country they fled from. To these America offered an opportunity to succeed at their dream.

     They started businesses, offered a product people wanted, were creative and worked more hours than they could have ever imagined. (hence we have recorded music, telephones, electricity, light bulbs, autos, radio , TV, computers, internet, and  great pizza! The list goes on and on)

     Some immigrants were very successful. And others made enough to provide for their families that their children might have a better life. That they might continue the business or choose another life where they felt they could succeed.  America and only America offered that.  It required fortitude, hard work, sweat and yes education.

     But todays education indoctrinates through suppression of any view that the so called educational elite deems inappropriate.

     They can not stand to have any view in the discussion but the view they hold. Evolution. Abortion. Christianity. Just three of the HOT buttons that drive them into insane diatribes of hatred. Hence , such hatred of various news sources that don't preach their own ideology. This is fascist.

     How ironic that the same people who proclaimed  freedom of expression in the 60's, the youth, (of which I was a part) have now become worse than the ones they protested against. But as the Who song proclaims, "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss."(or worse!)

     I have been blessed to have been brought up in the time I was as a boy. I had a desire to pursue a career and succeeded to make a living from it.  As I grew up  I saw early on that people said one thing but in reality did another. They were indeed hypocrites with long hair, love beads, songs of protest for the injustices being done.

     But they were only fooling themselves with hearts of stone destined to be the oppressors of the world yet to come. For in reality there is no one righteous, no not one. And all their good works were done with selfish motives of recognition that they may be seen as something they never really were. Good. For the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, Who can know it?

                              As Jesus Himself said, Without me, you can do nothing.

     Everything about the 60's and 70's  was focused on "I". Hedonistic nihilism was the mantra. If it feels good do it. Sex, drugs, rock and roll. And many believed it (and still do) It is in fact a religion. Worship of self. And oh it sounds so familiar....

 
“How you are fallen from heaven,

O Lucifer, son of the morning!

How you are cut down to the ground,

You who weakened the nations!

For you have said in your heart:

‘I will ascend into heaven,

I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,

I will be like the Most High.’(Is 14)

  
     This is the one who all that practice this religion follow and indeed worship. Oh, people may protest and say, "I don't do that! I'm a good person.  But it is rebellion against God and " rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.  Because you have rejected the word of the Lord...."  (1 Sam 15:23)

     "There is one way, one truth one life." So said Jesus, the Messiah. I believe because it was a gift from God to me. Not because I'm good. But because I realized I wasn't. And you know what. That also was a gift. I cried out for help.  And I received his grace. His gift. Without it there is no hope.  For the whole world is under the sway of the wicked one.....

‘Thus says the Lord God:

“You were the seal of perfection,

Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.

You were in Eden, the garden of God;

Every precious stone was your covering:

The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes

Was prepared for you on the day you were created.

“You were the anointed cherub who covers;

I established you;

You were on the holy mountain of God;

You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.

You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created,

Till iniquity was found in you. (Eze 28)

     I see as the people of this once great nation accept more perverse ideas and practices. As confusion  about morality, ethics and even gender slam us each day from an accepting and profane media. It is happening before our very eyes. Good has become evil and evil good.

     Something profound has happened in this country. A people who one accepted a Judeo- Christian premise have turned in hatred against God. And this is a fearful thing. For there comes a time when God gives people over to their own wicked hearts to do every manner of perversion and debauchery. And only one thing can come from that. DESTRUCTION.

     For God, the only true and living God who so loved the world, who gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes, shall not perish. This God is a consuming fire. That is what this present age is destined for.

     All the beautiful and fancy art work, statues, works of man, great literature so called, even writings from the theological masters that many venerate; (Calvin, The Wesley's,  Luther, Augustine,) the ornate mosques,temples and cathedrals. Even inventions that have been a benefit to us on this present earth , all the great works of mankind, all this shall be burned up. They are ashes waiting to blow in the wind. Only God’s word will remain when heaven and earth pass away. It’s only a matter of time.   

     Do you love the things of this world?  Will you as Lot’s wife, turn around and look back and long for this present evil age? Or will you long to be like Him, when we see Him as He is? 
     Naked you came into this world and naked you shall return. For we brought nothing into the world and it is certain you can take nothing out. Where do our loyalties lie?

    "For nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account."

                           It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
